Had a wonderful time in this lovely property/location. Owner very helpful and accommodating. Ideal for a family get-together, - we celebrated our daughters' Silver Wedding anniversary along with 3 other anniversaries. Plenty of room and good catering facilities for 12 people. The surrounding countryside was great for walking. Good food shops nearby. Lots of stately homes to enjoy, we visited Chatsworth, Sudbury Hall, Calk Abbey, & Lime Park - all different and interesting Ilam Park leading to Dovedale made a beautiful evening excursion.

Had a fantastic long weekend staying at Valley View with 12 close friends in January. The barn was easily big enough for all of us and played host to a splendid weekend of walking, drinking and general hot tub tomfoolery. I would definitely recommend to others and would one day like to return to this little haven in the Derbyshire countryside to relive the weekend once more.

Excellent location, the feeling of being 'away from it all' but still near enough to many local towns that provide independant, individual shops as well as major stores.
Children enjoyed walking the public footpath accessed directly from the property gate, they were safe to explore the countryside. Loved the view of the clear night sky from both the hot tub and the bedroom skylight. A really relaxing holiday enjoyed by 3 generations.

Wonderful cottage, fresh and modern but with a twist of history. Fantasic to relax in the hot tub after a hard days walking.
